Crank-Design becomes crahmánti

Before Crahmanti, Heather Crank founded Crank Design, a boutique art and design studio, in 2003. In the decade that followed, Crank Design flourished and expanded. To make its services even more robust and differentiated, Heather Crank teamed up with Greg Amanti in 2014. This collaboration inspired the duo to start fresh with a new brand. A portmanteau of Crank and Amanti, Crahmanti was born.

Finally, the music video for Distant Correspondent's "Summit" has been realsed out into the world.  We had so much fun making this piece with Edith Frost, David Obuchowski, Michael Lengel, Justin Lang and Greg Amanti.

We just finished up a poster design for Eyvind Kang and Jessika Kenney's upcoming show at the MCA Denver on March 9th at 7:30 p.m., presented by Creative Music Works and KGNU featuring The Playground Ensemble.

Eyvind has recorded/played with Beck, Laurie Anderson, Laura Veirs, Bill Frissel, John Zorn, The Animal Collective, Julian Priester (Sun Ra Orchestra), The Sun City Girls and countless other great musicians. Here is a review in the  N.Y. Times of their latest album.

We are VERY honored to be a part of this show.

Branding for Megan Mylan's documentary Raca

We have just completed a poster for a new documentary by Oscar winning Megan Mylan premiering in Brazil. Previously we worked with Tom Metz on the splash page for this film and we have our fingers crossed for a fantastic reception.

We are just about to start working with two very talented filmmakers Lucinda Spurling of Afflare Films (we are thrilled to work with her again) and a new client and Gillian Klempner of Spokeswoman Productions. Lots of new work coming soon!
