The economy seems to be picking up, we are humming along and it's only mid January!

We just finished branding Rise and Fly productions, a local film company lead by Sharon Sherman (check out their film in production "The Fence").

As well as some business cards for Joy Gonzales of Joyworks Productions.

Wow, September already????

Time flies!  Crank Design has been expanding as well as working with many new clients from Australia, the Bay Area, and New York.  Soon, very soon, we will have more work up to show for the past few months.

The summer has been heating up and we've been busy with several new projects, animations, posters, packaging and and a couple of brochures.  We feel so lucky to have so many wonderful clients.

In August watch for some new projects posted to the website.

Back from Telluride

We are back from the Mountain Film Festival in Telluride.  This is one of my favorite festivals so far (though I have yet to attend Sundance). The people are warm and genuine, the town is pristine, and incredibly beautiful, there is a big mix of mountain folk, movie stars, and people traveling from all over the world (though I must admit, I met more people from N.Y. than anywhere else). No airs, superiority, just this creative electricity in the air, and amazing conversations.

Tornado Season, a whirlwind of design

Hello Everyone,

Off to a whirlwind of  activity this spring. We are getting ready to attend the Telluride Mountain Film Festival at the end of May.

Meanwhile we are working on some logos, commercials, finishing up animations for the documentary "Bag It" by Suzan Beraza, as well as dvd packaging for the oscar winning  documentary "Smile Pinki" by Megan Mylan (we designed her film poster and website last year). The brilliant Tom Metz created the site's flash interface.

Finally, I'm putting up a website design we created for Clothes Circuit a high end re-sale boutique in Texas (flash interface created by the brilliant Tom Metz ).

New logo for River Song School

We just finished up a new logo for the River Song School just opening in Bend, OR.  An environmental Montessori school that cultivates self-confidence, critical thinking and compassion.  Best of luck River Song School!

Spring Fever

Beautiful weather, lots of new projects, we are kicking into high gear.

Almost completed are animations for a fabulous movie "Bag It" 
"Bag It" will be playing at the Telluride Mountain Film Festival in May.

We've also starting working with some new clients in New Zealand, Hawaii, and New York.

On our list of great design companies is Digital Kitchen New York . In February we were lucky to see their fabulous presentation in Denver. We love their style and process. Check out Bryce Wymer's blog .

Crank-Design also just finished an animation for and up coming technology conference and are now working on some titles for a documentary. Stay tuned.

Summer is here!

This has been one of our busiest spring seasons. We finished a website for the oscar winning documentary Smile Pinki  in conjunction with the coding genius of Bocumast Design, film titles/animations for Lucinda Spurling's Lion and the Mouse  and animations for The Beard Club by Laura Lukitsch  as well as some business cards, logos and book designs for local companies.

The new website is ALMOST there, check back next week. We are ready to take on what summer has to offer.

Spring is in the air

Spring is in the air and we can't wait to start on our new web project for Megan Mylan's "Smile Pinki" www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/02/25/smile-pinki-the-other-ind_n_169807.html .

We've just completed some titles and animations for "The Lion and the Mouse" by Afflare Films and are in the final stages of completing some animations for "The Beard Club".

2009 Moving and Shakin

Hello Everyone,

Crank Design has been working on several new exciting projects since 2009 began. Film titles for a new documentary coming out of Panama, animations for a beard documentary, and we just completed a collaborative web design/face lift  project with Bocumast Design  for a resale clothing store in Texas. 

We also found out that a documentary that we did some posters and postcards for is up for an academy award: SMILE PINKI Congratulations Megan!!!!!

We love fall

We've re-branded and are working on a brand spankin new website, due to be up and running Jan 2009.

Just completed are new promos for Zpop tv, and HP.  Currently are working on new packaging for WaterCourse Foods, as well as ads, ads, ads for Moss Pink Flora and Botanicals.

This summer we created a poster, postcards, and a business card for Megan Mylan for her new documentary "Smile Pinki"  We just found out that her documentary is in the race for an Oscar nomination. Congradulations Megan!
