We are back from the Mountain Film Festival in Telluride. This is one of my favorite festivals so far (though I have yet to attend Sundance). The people are warm and genuine, the town is pristine, and incredibly beautiful, there is a big mix of mountain folk, movie stars, and people traveling from all over the world (though I must admit, I met more people from N.Y. than anywhere else). No airs, superiority, just this creative electricity in the air, and amazing conversations.
My favorite films were:
Wasteland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWPU5WNgQ2w
Music by Prudence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMJKbqwA5VY
BAG IT: http://www.bagitmovie.com/
You can see Gasland, and Music by Prudence on HBO. Check Wasteland and Bag it's website for upcoming screenings.
